These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of this website (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Site.
This Site may be accessed internationally. Information on this Site is provided for general information purposes only.

Use of the Site
You may use this Site for lawful purposes only and in accordance with these Terms. You must not misuse the Site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or interfere with its security or operation.
What We Provide
Doctor Pathways Australia publishes educational information about the pathways to medical registration in Australia. That information is free and it is complete in itself. It is not a preview of something paid, and we do not hold back facts to sell them back to you. If you want to work through your registration using only what we publish, you can, and many people do.
We also offer optional paid add-ons, described below. They exist for priority and convenience: they save you time, do the watching or the assembling for you, or get you a faster answer from a person. They do not unlock information that is otherwise withheld, and not buying one does not disadvantage your registration.
Paid or free, nothing on this Site is medical, legal, migration or financial advice, and nothing we publish creates a professional relationship between us.
Optional Paid Add-Ons
Each of the following is optional. Each is a convenience over something you could do yourself using our free material and the regulators’ own published pages:
- Pathway Radar — we watch the published rules for your pathway and tell you when one changes. You could watch those pages yourself; this saves you doing it.
- Pathway Review Report — a person assembles the public criteria, your history and our published material into one written document about your situation. The underlying criteria are public and free; the assembly and the judgement are what you are paying for.
- Direct Messaging — priority access to a written answer from a person, within a stated time, citing the regulator page it rests on. The same answer is usually findable in our free material; this buys speed and someone accountable for it.
Prices are shown in the currency you select and are the prices we charge. Where GST or another sales tax applies to your purchase, it is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details.
What Our Paid Add-Ons Do Not Cover
Our paid add-ons address registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, the Medical Board of Australia and the specialist medical colleges.
They are not migration or visa advice. In Australia, giving immigration assistance for a fee is regulated and requires registration with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority. We are not registered migration agents, we do not give immigration assistance, and nothing we provide should be used in place of advice from a registered migration agent.
They are also not medical, legal or financial advice, and they are not a guarantee of any registration outcome. Registration decisions are made by the regulator, not by us. Paying us does not make a registration more likely, faster, or differently assessed — the regulator neither knows nor cares whether you are our customer.
Our answers describe the rules as we understand them on the date we answer. Rules change. Where a regulator publishes something that differs from what we have told you, the regulator is correct.
Response Times and Fair Use
Where a paid service states a response time, we measure it in business days in Sydney, Australia, excluding weekends and New South Wales public holidays, starting from when you send your question.
Direct Messaging is subject to a fair-use limit on how many questions you may have open at once, stated on the plan you choose. There is no limit on how many questions you may ask over time.
If we miss a stated response time, tell us. We will either answer promptly or refund the affected period, at your election.
Subscriptions, Renewal and Cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or annual, as you chose — until you cancel. Annual plans are paid in advance for twelve months.
You may cancel at any time from your portal account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then, and you are not charged again.
If we change the price of a subscription, the change does not apply to you while your existing subscription continues. You will be told before any new price takes effect, and you may cancel rather than accept it.
Refunds
Australian consumers: our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service has a major problem, you are entitled to cancel and receive a refund, or to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. If the problem is not major, you are entitled to have it fixed within a reasonable time, and if it is not fixed, to a refund. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
Consumers in the United Kingdom and the European Union: you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract without giving a reason. Where you ask us to begin a service within that period and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once it is fully performed, that right ends when we have performed it. For a Pathway Review Report, that means when we deliver the report.
Everyone: beyond the rights above, we do not refund a subscription period that has already begun, and we do not refund a delivered Pathway Review Report because you disagree with its conclusion. If you think we have got something factually wrong, tell us and we will correct it at no charge.
No Professional Advice

Your Account
Some parts of the Site require an account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details to yourself.
What you tell us about your qualifications and history determines what we show you and what we write for you. If it is wrong or incomplete, our output will be too. We may decline or end a paid service if we believe it is being used to obtain something we cannot properly provide.
Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of this Site at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the Site will be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may update these Terms from time to time by publishing an updated version on this Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

This Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or privacy practices of third parties. Links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this Site, including any indirect or consequential loss or damage. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have that cannot be excluded by law.
