Why Doctor Pathways Australia exists
Doctor Pathways Australia exists for three reasons.
First, doctors ask the same questions again and again. Which pathway fits me? How long will it take? Which documents do I need, and how must they be certified? What does supervision actually mean? We answer each question once, from the regulators’ own pages, and show the date we checked.
Second, Australian general practices need the same answers from the other side. What must the doctor have? What supervision does the practice provide? How long does it all take? Felix’s family owns a general practice in Sydney, which is where many of the practice-side questions first came from.
Third, Felix has moved countries himself. He has dealt with visas and registrations in the USA, Switzerland, Turkey and Taiwan, and has worked within the UK and German regulatory systems. He knows how unclear these systems can look from the outside.
Free to use, with optional help
We bring the regulators’ published rules together in one system and make them free to read, search and use yourself. Our free checklist and process guide turns them into your own step-by-step plan, from registration to starting practice in Australia. If you want more help, we offer optional paid tools, including help from a person. Paid tools never change what the guides say, and no one pays to appear.
Who owns us
Doctor Pathways Australia is owned by KXN Ventures. Keck Group, which works with Australian medical practices, is a partner in the KXN Ventures portfolio. Our guides are written independently of it, and no one pays to appear on Doctor Pathways Australia.
