He has spent his career in highly regulated sectors. He is an executive at Ausgrid, the Sydney electricity network operator. Before that he was a strategy consultant at Arthur D. Little and worked across energy (E.ON), mobility (Volkswagen's Elli) and insurance and investment (Allianz), after starting in high-performance scientific computing. He completed his PhD in Physics (energy systems) at the University of Sydney, where he now holds an honorary appointment in the School of Physics.
